外國人說Don't go there，不是要你別去那裡(三)
2、You can't go there from here.
（錯）你不能從那裡到這裡。
（對）那裡遠得很哪。
（對）這問題沒法解決。
「can't get there from here」，字面上的意思是「無法從這裡到那裡」，它可以指距離太遠。
例如有人問路，要到某個地方，真的太遠了，可以這麼說：
★ You can't get there from here, but I'll give you some directions if you have paper and a pen.
那地方遠著呢！但如果你有紙和筆，我可以跟你說怎麼走。
也可以比較抽象地指一件事「太難，無法解決」。
★ I'll say you can't get there from here. Let's just leave it at that.
我覺得這問題還沒辦法解決，先就這樣擱著。
