面試通知：You are on the shortlist，到底是入選還是落選？(四)
3、You are on the shortlist.
（錯）你在短名單上。
（對）你已進入決選名單。
longlist和shortlist是人力資源常用的術語，安排面試時，一開始人選很多，這個長名單就是longlist，到最後進入決選的就是shortlist。
直接說成「長名單」、「短名單」，聽得人未必懂得你的意思。
★ We've drawn up a shortlist for the job.
我們已經確定了該職位的最終候選名單。
★ She's on the shortlist for a first novel prize.
她進入了小說首作獎的最終候選名單。
Shortlist也有動詞用法，還算常見。
★ We have eight applicants shortlisted for the job.
有8位候選人進入該職位的決選名單。
