laundry list字面上的意思像是洗衣單，其實是指「冗長的清單」，就像髒衣服一樣，經常是雜亂的。
★ The client came to the meeting with a laundry list of complaints.
客戶列了一長串的抱怨來參加會議。
★ I can recite a laundry list of things wrong with this machine.
要說這機器哪裡有問題，我可以列出一大串。
還有一般我們說的「dirty laundry」是指「待洗衣物」，但它經常也用來指「醜聞，家醜，隱私」。
★ Everyone has a little dirty laundry。
（錯）每個人都有一堆髒衣服。
（對）每個人都有一些不為人知的秘密。
