Mandy在會議中，提出她對新產品促銷的想法，她說著說著，老闆突然插了一句：
「This is where I came in.
她愣在那裡，「你從哪兒來，為什麼會在會議提出這不相關的事呢？」。
抬起頭看著老闆一臉不耐煩的臉色，原來「This's where I came in」跟從哪兒來一點關係都沒有。

（錯）我就是從這裡來的。
（對）你講的我都聽過了。
「This is where I came in.」，字面的意思是「我就是這裡來的」，其實就是說「這裡的一切我都清楚明白、你講的我都知道了」。
