Check out的多重用法
稍微複雜的是Check out，它和Check in一樣，意思很多重：
結帳離開
★ Mr. White has checked out this morning.
懷特先生今天上午已經結帳走了。
檢查
★ I'm not sure whether the light has been turned off - I'll just go and check it out.
不知道燈關了沒有，我去看看好了。
通過測試
★ All the trainees checked out all right.
所有的受訓人員都符合要求。
與事實吻合
★ Everything he said checks out.
他說的一切經查證都和事實吻合。
【口語】快來看！
★ That movie was out of this world. You should check it out！
那部電影超棒的，你應該去看看！
要告訴別人一件事，或要對方看一個東西的時候，就可以用check it out這句話來引起注意，就像You know what/Guess what/Look也有同樣的功能。
