1、Welcome to the club!／Join the club
（錯）歡迎加入俱樂部
（對）我也一樣／彼此彼此
「Welcome to the club.」字面上是歡迎加入俱樂部，但真正含意是帶著自我嘲諷意味，說自己和對方處境相同，多半用在倒楣的時候。
也有人用Join the club. 意思一樣，是熟人間用的口語。
★ If you don't understand the rules, join the club: no one else does either！
如果你搞不懂這規則，不光是你一人，我也一樣。
★ So you’ve been fired? Welcome to the club, old buddy.
這麼說，你也被炒魷魚了？咱們成難兄難弟了。
2、Club together
（錯）一起俱樂部
（對）一塊湊錢
Club我們熟悉的是名詞用法，其實它也可以當動詞，意思是share the cost，就是一塊湊錢的意思。例如：
★ We clubbed together to buy him a present.
我們湊錢給他買了一份禮物。
